 Judges Matter

  • Experienced and well-qualified District Court judges are essential to the efficient and effective functioning of our judicial system.  District Courts - typically the first point of contact for citizens seeking protection of their rights - decide many important issues including: Domestic / Juvenile / Family Cases / Criminal Cases / Traffic Cases / and most Civil and certain Real Estate Lawsuits
  • Retaining a judge with proven knowledge of the law, demonstrated judicial temperament, organizational skill, and commitment to service is crucial. We need to keep Judge Todd Owens in District Court;  Mecklenburg County truly cannot afford to lose his knowledge, experience and compassion.
